The Summer of Jordi Perez is a cute mix of friendship, first love, communication, and diverse, rich characters wrapped up in a summer of fashion, blogging, and testing out burgers in LA. I love how the characters showed depth in their relationships through learning to better communicate - something we don't see often enough in YA!
