Wyatt by Jessica Peterson

emotional funny hopeful inspiring fast-paced

From the opening chapters, Wyatt was a (what I think is pretty close to) perfect friends to lovers read. The strong friendship, the longing glances, the way they open up to each other, and the way they just willingly support each other is so pure. Even the jealousy at points is a fun time.

I absolutely loved Wyatt calling Sally "Sunshine" because that's what she is to him. She's a comfort when he needs it and a calming presence when needed. She's a very experienced vet and I love how just absolutely comfortable she is when she's not in the "sterile environment" of New York. Wyatt had to do some growing up at a young age and was seen one way when he totally put that up at a performance but once you get to know him.... You see a totally different side.
