So stubborn! Why do all these female heroines in urban fantasy have to be ridiculously stubborn to the point of causing MORE problems for themselves? (I'm looking at you, Jo Walker). A natural sense of caution is good to have, but when all the evidence is literally throwing itself at you, you may as well just start believing.

Reading the next book more for Quinton and less for Harper. She doesn't seem to be a fully realized character for me yet. I have hopes that she'll grow on me.
