This was completely perfect. The illustrations, the beautiful themes of family and grief and bonds, the love for the forest was all perfect. Willow was sweet and relatable and Pilu was lovely. I loved how they both learned it was okay to have strong feelings as long as you don't let them win. I 100% cried to this story.
