It's been a while since I've reread Harry Potter, but this time I'm going audiobook style! I realize, through listening, how attached I still am to all the characters because certain scenes make me tear up even though they're not sad scenes. (ie: I had to pause for a good minute while bawling after the Gred and Forge scene!!) I've listened to bits and pieces of the audiobooks in the past, but I've never actually done a full listen and I'm mostly pleased with Jim Dale's performance. I wish certain characters didn't sound so whiny, but it hasn't detracted from my enjoyment of the book!

I've been listening only while driving (makes traffic something to look forward to!), but I recently ordered an MP3 player that should be perfect for audio books based on the reviews so that I can listen everywhere without needing my phone.
