I only finished this because I was reading it for a romance book club I’m in. This is Icebreaker, but worse if you can believe it. If I never have to hear/read the words “good girl” (or any variation of that) again it’ll be too soon. I just don’t GET it. It’s not sexy it’s infantilising I HATE it. I have a whole list of things/phrases I didn’t like in my notes app. Might share that 😂 the only positive thing is that I completed my reading goal for this year but did it really have to be this book? 🫥 it’s my own fault I guess, for finishing it. Can’t wait to bash it at book club tonight, I wasn’t the only one who didn’t like it 😆

The only thing I liked about this was that he took her bookshopping. Oh, and the cat. The cat is the best character. He has a stupid name though 🙄

OH and the fact that she made him read freaking ICE PLANET BARBARIANS 💀💀💀 I’m dead
