This is one of my all time favorite YA romances! I listened to this on audio and wow it enhanced the entire experience! I loved the dual POV and narrators that really brought Jack and Pepper to life. See below for my review from the first time I read this book :)

This was probably the cutest YA romance book I’ve read this year, and I feel like I’ve read a ton of them!! This book was so well written and I loved every minute of it. Pepper & Jack’s friendship was so cute and I loved the slow burn between the two as they started as less than friends. The desserts in this book also sound SO good and I need the recipes for them!! I really loved how the two characters also grew on their own and figured out what they wanted to do with their lives throughout the book. It was a nice reflection of real life and young adults trying to figure out what they want to do after high school (I know I was the same way, I had no clue what I wanted to do & sometimes I still don’t know!!) this was a book I had seen hyped up so much on here and it is definitely worth allllll of the hype! I’m adding myself to the fan club of this book. ⠀

This book is something I’d highly recommend to anyone who enjoys YA romance but also needs a really cute, uplifting read during this tough quarantine!
