I was kinda disappointed in this book. When I saw I could read it for my English exams, I got very excited. I have heard of this book being a classic, and found it very interesting. But after a few pages I already knew I didn't like it. There were only 3 characters that I liked, Piggy, Ralph and Simon, and 2 of them died. There was a lot of detail when Jack and his hunters were hunting pigs. Too much details for me. For most the book I was annoyed by the characters, and only in the end I got curious how the story would end, but I didn't like the ending either. I would've liked more detail about the group being rescued. How Jack would've reacted to seeing Ralph and the soldier. How the trip back home would be like, and if their parents were still alive. Stuff like that.
