This book reminds me so much of Bride Wars that it totally fit for me that Kate Hudson plays Darcy in the movie. Darcy is the self absorbed, attention seeking, beautiful friend and Rachel is the smart, level headed, generous friend. While Darcy takes, Rachel gives. Their friendship is a toxic one and it gets worse when Rachel sleeps with Darcy's fiancé on the night of her birthday and is the beginning of an affair. Juicy, right? Something Borrowed kept me interested but there was a lot of filler that I didn't really care for. The ending is left without any closure so be prepared to read the second book, Something Blue.
