Madeleine Roux is definitely becoming one of my new favorite authors!
I absolutely adored her Asylum series so when I heard she had a new book coming out I was so excited to read it and it was so fantastic!
I love the old setting of the book, it made it all the more spooky and mysterious! Louisa was such a great character... I loved how skeptical she was of everything because it made the story all that more believable. She needed to see things with her own eyes and she was curious and strong... she was a great main character!
The rest of the characters were the perfect mix of creepy and friendly to keep you guessing what was really going on.
The story itself is so unique and was so cool to read about. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out so I can find out what is going to happen next!
