Nothing Like the Movies is a much more serious story (definitely not a rom-com) compared to its predecessor. As much as I love Wes and Liz, the protagonists, I didn’t feel this sequel was truly necessary. With its unnecessary conflicts and a few cringey one-liners, I kind of wish I had left this one on the shelf.
