Someone Knows: A Novel

Thank you to the publisher for a free Netgalley.
Well that was effed up and twisty. Holy moly.
Elizabeth is a college professor who receives a submission from a student, which lays out a terrible event from when she lived in Louisiana. It talks about a friend she was not heard from in 20 years.
Going back to Louisiana winds up, of course, being an absolute hot mess. Elizabeth slowly becomes an unreliable narrator as she spirals more and more. The ending was great!
My only qualm was the addition of a couple characters that never get any "show time". It feels like with Lucas the timeline set in present day does not line up at times.
But def recommend for those who like twisty thrillers. Google trigger warnings for sure!
