Winter was a good conclusion to Marissa Meyer's series. There were a lot of characters, and sometimes it was hard to keep track of them. Some of the story beats are trite, and the book is much too long for its own good. Cinder is the character I resonated most with because we've been following her for four books. The idea of introducing a new character in each book is nice in theory but leaves little time for development. Overall, it's not half bad.
