myntop 's review for:
A Royal Shade of Blue
by Aven Ellis
This was such a cute and fun royal romance. It reminded me a bit of The Prince & Me only with an updated twist. I found the characters to be complex and their relationship, while a bit rushed, to be believable.
I like how both Christian and Clementine are suffering under similar feelings, though in vastly different circumstances. They relate to each other that way and it's easier for them both to treat each other as just a normal person. I also like how Clementine is so passionate about her work and how Christian is so driven to find something to give him purpose.
I was very drawn to Liz in the book and was excited to see that she gets her own book in the 2nd volume of this series.
I hadn't read this author before, but I was very pleased!
