I thoroughly enjoyed this gothic modern novel. The main character is diverse and I really enjoyed they are openly autistic. I felt a lot of similarities in the way the character views the world and myself, even down to food issues.
The emotions felt real and not dramatic the way some novels can do that. The feelings and tensions were great and the story was well thought out and fleshed out in such a great way. It is graphic and gory in some parts but it's not that bad but just be warned.
