I loved book one and I'm surprised this one was such a letdown. Literally nothing happens. The plot is full of despair and the writing is dull and monotonous. It's a complete 180 from the first. There wasn't humor or action or anything to put a positive spin on. The romance was dreadfully boring. I would have DNF this if I wasn't hellbent on finishing the series.
