Like most King novels, this book was well written and did not disappoint. From the POV of the haunted former Detective Hodges and serial killer Mr. Mercedes. Mr. Mercedes stole the luxury car earning his name and murdering people by running them over at an early morning gathering. Hodges can't let go of the unsolved case and takes the mystery up on his own with two unexpected allies to catch the madman before he attempts to do it again.

Captivating, it was like watching a car crash without being able to look away. Pun intended.
