You Know It's Love
by Jen Morris
Book two in the Love in the City series focuses on Alex's roommate Cat, who owns her own vintage and clothing store, and follows very specific rules in her dating life. She only shows her best self on dates, doesn't put out on first dates, and stays away from men who are anything like her tattooed bartending cheating ex-husband. So, when Myles starts working at her brother's bar, she friend zones him immediately even though is super hot. He eventually volunteers to help her build a website for her shop since she is facing closure (aka her ex owns the building and is now threatening to raise the rent to a figure she can't afford unless she brings up her profits significantly). As they work together, she learns her new friend is not the cocky player she thinks he is and wonders if breaking her rules to be friends with benefits would be a big mistake. I think these two are my favorite couple so far of the three books I've read, but Cat's brother is the MC in the upcoming fourth book so we'll see!
