THIS BOOK!!!! I can't remember a book that brought me so much joy and happiness throughout! I had happy tears sliding down my face many times. I had sad tears as well. The writing was so smooth, I was just engulfed in the world and story. I love those kids just as much as Arthur, Linus and Zoe love them. The relationship between Arthur and Linus was sweet, real, and written perfectly. It didn't feel like a forced relationship for the sake of the book, and I appreciate that so much! This was the perfect magical story I needed to feel good. And yet there were so many relevant issues in the book. Relevant to the world we currently live in! The parallels were obvious. They are important. I dream of the day that "magical folk" and "regular humans" can co-exist as well as the family on the island of Marsyas.
