The Leisure Seeker by Michael Zadoorian
4.0

One of the most readable books I’ve encountered in a while - I started reading at bedtime and finished in the wee hours of the morning taking in this travelogue through the eyes of its intrepid protagonist from michigan to santa monica as she rides shotgun in her 30 plus year old RV alongside her senile partner as they chew up the miles. The scenery shares run-time in her mind competing with memories of past trips and family memories as the past flits through the windows of our determined, loyal and ultimately unreliable natrator’s mind. A near five star read that makes up for all its shortcomings through its sheer readability . The only thing to rival it that I know is Rules for Old Men Waiting .
