- This is one of the most inclusive books on reproductive care I've ever read, and Matthews calls all those details out specifically. She also makes space not only for every body, but for every emotional experience as well.
- The essays do get a bit meandering at times, but that's the "reflections" part of it. Besides, nothing about this work or these experiences is linear, anyway.
