This wasn't super eventful but really strong character growth.

We get to see Mark as a daddy. It's fucking adorable. Like I was smiling the entire time (maybe because we're trying to have a kid but this was super sweet) and loved that he finally told Eve what happened to him. (Spoilers) Rape is no joke and this book doesn't just gloss over it. It can happen to anyone, any gender, and what happened was screwed up. Mark doesn't just "get over it" he has to deal with it. Even gets that, and they have a great touching moment.

Oliver is back too! I freaking love that kid. Except he's an adult now...and he's good looking...nice! I really enjoyed Mark and Oliver's interaction and thought the dinner scene (and after moment) was great.

Oh and battle beast mission ends...what a finale. Holy hell, that was 5 issues worth of fighting haha.

I really love the way this is going. However, I just have a bad feeling with the final scene in this volume and makes me worried. Hoping I'm wrong! 4/5 baby!
