I went into this expecting to be so scared that I wouldn't be able to sleep without a light on - however, this book is definitely more of a mystery than anything else. That being said, I really loved this book and was thoroughly intrigued by it.

There were unexpected twists and turns all throughout the book and with each new bit of information we got, there were 20 new questions to be answered. I like to think that I've gotten good at guessing the endings of mystery-type books, but this was something I didn't see coming and I absolutely loved it.

Even with this book not having many in-your-face scary moments, there's a definite undercurrent of creepiness that's unsettling in a way that I've only ever found in Japanese horror.

I did read it in the middle of the day though so we'll see how I get on tonight..
