The Adventurer's Son
by Roman Dial
Let me start off by saying how excited I was to read this book. Jon Krakauer reviewed it so I figured it must be good. ⠀
⠀
⠀
The book started off a slow, I mean SNAILS PACE. With a lot of unnecessary build up that could have been cut down substantially and still get the point across. ⠀
⠀
About half way through the book, it finally picked up and once it did. It didn’t stop. ⠀
⠀
This memoir was heartbreaking, of the journey and the fight of a man searching for his son and searching for answers. Going against what people were telling him. ⠀
