While I liked the ending of this series, for some reason, I had a hard time staying in the story. Perhaps it's because I read the others a while back. There was something about the writing and the intermingling of the multiple names I had a hard time with, while I knew they were the same person - the transition on the page didn't work for me. I had a hard time with Declan, the Hero, and the Heroine, Pippa/Francesa, because who they were to each other 20 years ago is not the relationship or the fake relationship that is now. Lots of lies, disguises, and revelations, and in the end, it worked. Still good, but it does not live up to the others in the series.
