From Now On
by C.W. Farnsworth
I haven't met a C.W. Farnsworth book I didn't like. From Now On didn't disappoint!
I love Farnsworth's MMCs. There is something so quietly beautiful about them. They can be loud (re: Aiden) but still so deeply quiet and strong. I can't describe it. It's when Conor goes to Harlow's and just wants to hold her and sleep in her bed--to be near her. It's when Hunter seeks out Eve at the art school and that hug literally pieces him back together. I cannot get enough. She allows them to be vulnerable, while also being strong characters. And being only vulnerable with their girls? Sheesh.
Anywho, From Now On was all of that. I loved the stories. I like that Sean was a part of the story but didn't overpower it. I like that Eve's family drama also doesn't over power the story. It's just enough to allow them to focus on one another.
And the library scene? "Wanna find out?" Excuse the f outta me. I needed a moment. I think I went back and read that scene three times, just to make sure I absorbed it enough.
