While I missed Fiona Davis's trademark style of switching between two stories in different timelines, the lack of it did not hurt The Spectacular in any way!  It is difficult to choose a favorite since I have enjoyed all of her books, but The Spectacular may be just slighly ahead of the others.  I was immediately drawn into Marion's story and the glamour of Radio City Music Hall made it difficult to put down!  I love that I always learn something new about New York City from Davis and I can't wait to see where she takes us next!
