Oh my. Louise Penny can tell quite the story. And she did not disappoint with book 5 of her Armand Gamache series.

In this installment, we learn that Three Pines has a hermit in their woods. This hermit is visited by Olivier, our wonderful B&B owner. After we read about these two together at the beginning, the hermit is found dead in the Bistro.

From there we are whisked into a tale about this hermit, Czech citizens of Three Pines and Olivier.

Wonderfully written with more depth given to the characters in this series.
