Flock Horror is possibly my second favourite of the four Dread Wood books published to date. Although a couple of the others were more creepy, this still had plenty of atmosphere - and for a kids' book, the main characters take a whole lot of physical injury (mainly from the attacking birds). The friendship between them continues to be a highlight of the series. 

I have loved this entire series and I'm already counting the weeks until the next book comes out early next year.
