Book two was not a letdown. The kids know that monsters are going to eat them if they don’t escape the house now they just have to plan and figure out how to take everyone with them. But there is a traitor in their midst. This traitor reports back to mom and we don’t know why. Plus mom has brought on a new assistant, that doesn’t always listen to mom. This series is a lot of fun, it’s a lot of heart, lots of adventure, and a tad bit horror. In other words it’s something for everyone. Now on to book 3.
