I really enjoyed the set up of this novel but it was lacking the usual outlandish story telling most Night Vale novels have, it felt a little too mild on the crazy. The characters were enjoyable and I liked the development of the Faceless Old Woman, her backstory was kind of awesome, but it just fell short for me. Overall, the story was good and I liked the timeline jumps, but I would have liked to see more Night Vale.
