Solid comic that I'll definitely be looking to read more of. I may return Vol. 1 and get the omnibus (Vols. 1-3) to read/re-read together. But I definitely enjoyed this one. Bit of a zany cast of characters, as our MC is on an adventure/on adventures in "The Ether" - a parallel universe where "magic" is stuff that we can understand from a scientific lens, but where scientific inquiry is a sort of thought-crime. When The Golden Blaze is murdered, our MC is tasked with figuring out who is to blame and bringing them to justice. On the journey, we learn more about our MC and how they became involved with The Ether and the impact its had on them/their family/their partner.
