I absolutely loved this book- it may be my favorite of the last several years for me. Madeline Miller writes beautiful prose - it feels simple and accessible yet equally poetic and profound, which is an impressive balance. The respect for Circe as a character was so clear throughout, and Aiaia as a setting really came to life. It’s one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again, and also a book that has made me pledge to read everything Madeline Miller ever publishes.
