Bree sees a “witch” in her bedroom window one morning. She is unsure if she really saw her or if she was half asleep. Later on she sees the “witch” again in a parking lot. Her son then goes missing and the old lady gives her specific information if she wants her baby back. The old lady has a vendetta and wants to see justice done.
This book started off rough for me and I was unsure if I wanted to go on with it. However, once the twist and the investigation started by Bree and Marshal I became more invested. I felt like the ending was drawn out. It was still a good read and one of the better thrillers I’ve read in a while.
