This was a quick read. 

There’s a lot of reviews mentioning the lack of world building but honestly with this standalone I don’t think it was needed for the storyline! (Yes I know there is a second book in the world but it doesn’t follow these characters). I was an easy read and I enjoyed the characters through out. There were some things story line wise that was a clear set up for a reveal but the last twist was not expected. 

The only major thing for me was the moment I got to the last page it really felt like an abrupt ending. In the span of three pages there was twist, reveal, solution, end. After a great story I would have loved more for an ending.
