The Secret Keeper
by Kate Morton
Wow, Kate Morton has a serious talent for story telling. She weaved this story together so that it was impossible to stop reading. So many twists and turns as Laurel tries to piece together her mother's past. I liked that we got narration from Dorothy, Vivian, and Jimmy in addition to Laurel's current perspective. I felt sorry The way the author makes you thin a certain way and then snatched the rug from under you was shocking. The ending had me surprised and want to go back and re-think the entire book.
Kate Morton is one of my favorite authors because of her narrative powers.

for Dorothy, but then she started to really get on my nerves. I understand that she had a problem with distinguishing between reality and her fantasies but it turned her into someone who thought she was better than anyone else. Poor Jimmy really got screwed by both Vivian and Dorothy and I can only hope that he found a happy ending once he started a family.Kate Morton is one of my favorite authors because of her narrative powers.
