I really enjoy this series so far! I think I enjoyed the plot more in this book than the first but it took FOREVER for something to happen. They were literally in New Haven from the end of the first book to like almost halfway through this book. I find the plot twists predictable but also entertaining and there is also a good amount of spice in this book. However, the timing of some of the spicy parts was odd... like why in the carriage after all that death? and why was Casteel horny 24/7 this man could not get enough and was turned on at the most random times. Lastly, WHY IS POPPY SO CLUELESS?! Her ability literally lets her know how Casteel is feeling and she still is like "no he doesn't love me" ARE YOU DUMB? Anyway! Overall enjoyable read and I am already onto the third book.
