This was an adorable little book that I just flew through. I especially love how even though Serafina was thrown into a completely unknown and unexpected situation, she didn't mope and whine. She did what she could to make the best of the situation and never lost hope that she could make things right. This is a wonderful book for middle school aged girls (and really anyone who likes a bit of magic in their life), I think.
