This is another book I want to rave about. There is complicated, messy, gray looks at racism (particularly white savior complex) and how to deal with the effects of internment camps. There are complicated, wonderful, mother/daughter and aunt/niece relationships. There is discussion of pregnancy and how women feel about it. How do you honor your family's legacy while not draining your savings? Just so much good, good stuff. I listened to the audio and it was wonderful.
