Myra Malone blogs about a dollhouse mansion that has garnered thousands of followers worldwide. Despite her internet fame, Myra is a hermit and isn't planning to change that until she receives a picture of Alex Rakes' house–a house that turns out to be a life-sized estate of Myra's miniature dollhouse. The duo searches for connections between their mansions and the stories that entwine them.

I adore the world-building, big and small, of MINUSCULE MANSION and Burges' brilliance in using the mansion to explore generational trauma. The relationship between Myra and her grandparents is another standout in the book that warms my heart. At its core, MINUSCULE MANSION asks the readers to examine the people and places we carry with us, and how we can find the courage to let go of the past and make room for the new.
