It was better than I thought it would be, but still kind of meh for me. The story felt kind of predictable, but it had some interesting imagery and world-building. The deaths were a lot more brutal and sad than expected, but I didn't mind it as much as I thought I would. I was a little bit more creeped out by the bugs than the deaths. It's a little more action heavy than I would like, but it is to be expected from this kind of story. It's kind of an entry point/stepping stone for me to get into reading more action packed books.
Graphic: Death, Violence
Moderate: Body horror, Gore
Minor: Injury/Injury detail
