There’s a reason why Catherine Cowles is one of my very favorite authors and every time I read one of her books I’m reminded why. She takes all of my favorite things and blends them together in the most delicious and satisfying way, she delivers every single time, without fail and I’m just obsessed with her books. 🤩 

The first book in this series, Whispers of You had me in a chokehold from page one and I had a similar experience here. Maddie and Nash are lifelong best friends and their bond was everything I wanted and more. The mutual pining worked so well with their relationship dynamics and I understood their hesitation to push for more from each other out of fear of losing the best, and most important relationship in each of their lives. Pining means you get some slow burn deliciousness but it was worth the wait for sure. The tension was strong, the spice was sexy and the emotional upheaval these characters went through before finding their HEA was so so satisfying. I need book 3 ASAP!
