Dance with the Devil
by Megan Derr
Mm, I love Megan Derr's writing, usually. This could be so good with a little polish. The way the stories are arranged is disconcerting, with a continuous back and forth from past to present. Starting each new chapter ruined my immersion into the world. I could follow along, but it was not a good way to tell us about Chris, Sable or the myriad of strays that Chris picked up on his journeys.
That being said, I have discovered that I have a thing for posessive alpha males in m/m stories, but not in f/m ones.
