Going blind into books seems to be my downfall. I didn’t enjoy the plot at all, which followed a self absorbed, pretentious “former gifted child” who was going to university years after everyone in his age group on a quest to find his package. The jokes were crude, and the author made attempts to be witty which just fell flat. All of the characters, even the nice ones, were insufferable, and I didn’t enjoy any bit of this
