I loved Despina and Jalal in The Wrath and the Dawn, so this was a really fun novella! I really enjoyed seeing them banter and start to fall for each other. If I had any complaints, I think the only one would be that this wasn’t longer. I would’ve liked another few chapters, just for fun. :)
