I loved being back about the ship and back with Tom and the gang - this book was such a fun time
- workplace romance (on a cruise ship)
- secret identity
- great spice
- no 3rd act break up
- dual pov / 1st person
I really enjoyed all the characters and this whole world that Philippa built, I had a great time reading
I loved the main characters and how supportive they are of each other, I also loved their friendship with Tom's roommate/best friend, Jack (he's such a good character and I really hope he gets his own book)
You don't find out what happened to Gemma prior to her being on the ship until about 50% and it was so good to suddenly understand some of the choices she made at the start. I really loved how at the end she fought back against the opinion that the general public has about her
The spice in this book is so fun and I had a great time reading it
Thank you to Philippa for the ARC - all opinions are my own
