I fell for this book hook, line, and sinker. In the first few chapters the overly flowery language made me roll my eyes (this author is obsessed with described the inane details of people's eyes), but as the story progress the writing finds its footing. By the time Khalid said "Destroy me," I knew I had sold my soul to this book. I flew through this book and finished it in just one sitting. I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel.
