Just finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower and I swear it’s the best book I’ve read; it’s my new favourite book. I literally read this in one sitting. I relate to Charlie in more ways than one and I think he’s just what I needed right now at this time in my life. Charlie is intelligent and has a certain naivety that lends to a unique world view that I enjoy. He’s different from any other character I’ve read about. I’m a female high school graduate who relates all too well to a male freshman. If anyone reading this knows of an author who writes in a similar style as Chbosky, I would love to hear suggestions
