Asimov does a very good job to wrap things up here. He clearly adresses the critics that his character development suffered for the sake of the plot by giving a story that is very character driven. The plot is interesting and important, of course, but it seems to be here to support Hari Seldon’s journey. A very enjoyable read, even if it is a lot sadder than the rest of his Foundation series.
