My Review: DNF

The beginning was intriguing. Creepy with enough intrigue to hook the reader.

I absolutely adored the family dynamic! I laughed whenever Alex was with her sisters. The friendship with Rishi was sweet. Alex and Nova's interactions were interesting.

The problem was that I didn't really enjoy reading about Alex. I liked her when she was with her family but that's about it. I also didn't care for the overall plot let alone the magic system.

Recommend: I recommend this book due to the rep, mystery, characters/relationships, and magic system.
